The top of my heart as it skips a beat…

Various things to post today.
Firstly, the utter hopeless political argument surrounding the “Mosquito”.

Honestly, i have to say its an incredibly annoying gadget, which indiscriminately (and therefore wrongly imo) targets anyone with the hearing outside “normal” adult range. This is generally 25 and lower. I can hear it and consider it to be incredibly insulting. In fact, if i knew of somewhere where it was installed i’d probably tear it down if i could get away with it.

Don’t get me wrong, i hate chavs just as much as the next one, but i really don’t think that kids hanging around somewhere is enough of an annoyance to use what essentially amounts to a sonic weapon on them, especially when it is indiscriminate. As far as i’m concerned, those who feel its use is necessary need to stop reading the sun and the mail and actually start thinking for themselves rather than read the scaremongering press. Cliche but true.

US Primary wise, it appears that Obama is beginning to edge out in front of Hillary. Good, the US needs a change. Ideal ticket? one i’d vote for? that’d have to be Obama/Edwards. You could certainly do a hell of a lot worse than that combo

I’ve started getting into The Coral recently. May have to buy their albums when i get some monies. New album of theirs soon, so may have to keep an eye on amazon.

Been writing a song over the last few days. Had a riff going round in my head (a really simple one) and i felt i had to do something with it. May post it on Youtube when its finished, and if get a chance to record it.

Needs lyrics tho. Sorta got an idea in my head – a guy running to catch a train to stop the woman of his dreams from leaving him, and its absolutely pissing it down with rain. Just had an image (as i was thinking of a name to save the tab under) of a guy in a T-shirt and Jeans running through the wet streets trying to get to the train station before she disappears forever.
