Recipies I like
I’m gonna stick recipes i like on this page.
Nice easy one to start with : Pete’s Special Couscous.
Take one sachet of Couscus (i used Ainsly Harriot’s “Moroccan Medley”). make up in a milk pan according to the recipe.
Once the couscous has absorbed the water fully, add a knob of butter (size dependant on how creamy you like it. i used a cube about 2cm big) and three drops of your fave hot sauce (i used Tabasco). Put the pan on the hob and melt the butter and mix in the hot-sauce thouroughly. Once the butter has melted, add between 2 and 3 teaspoons of Pesto (i used green, but red probably works well too
) . Mix throughly and serve.

Another good Recipe is McCauliflower’s Marshmallow recipe found over at her Brownie Points blog : http://www.browniepointsblog.com/2006/04/15/basic-vanilla-marshmallows/
I’ve had mixed success with this, mainly due to my own incompetence. Vanilla marshmallows worked really well, but Peppermint one’s didn’t work quite as well, i think down mainly to not mixing throughly enough. it doesn’t matter tho, since i now have a wonderful peppermint flavored sugar goo to mix into hot chocolate. Which is just Awesome.
